Wahoo Public Schools is seeking a compassionate, organized, and dependable Health Aide to support the nursing office within the district. The Health Aide will assist the school nurse in providing care for students, maintaining health records, administering first aid, and promoting a safe and healthy learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the school nurse in caring for ill or injured students.
Administer first aid and routine health care under the direction of the nurse.
Monitor students with health needs (ex. Medication administration, chronic health conditions).
Maintain accurate and confidential student health records.
Communicate with parents/guardians regarding student health concerns as directed.
Support health screenings and record keeping.
Uphold district health and safety policies and procedures.
